Use the interference check and collision detection capability to instantly verify the integrity of the 3D model for technical documentation. Ensure the precision of any measurement by applying the 3D assembly evaluation and dimension tools.

Update assembly functionality

Utilize the Find tool to detect changed parts and apply selected properties during the update process. Incorporate design modifications applied to the 3D CAD source data that will generate updates for all stored information, including previously output illustrations. Display selected components only when comparing the “before” and “after” 3D model.

Advanced object structure handling

Save time by replacing all instances of a subassembly at once with the Replace Assembly feature and work more efficiently with the powerful Edit panel.

Animation editing console

You can also control the resolution of embedded bitmap images to generate combined vector illustration and shaded view (bitmap rendering) output in one step.

Multi vector illustration output

Enjoy an accelerated workflow with a streamlined process for sending individual snapshots as well as updating or sending illustrations from numerous 3D view selections. It provides a more efficient way to author multi-step assembly instructions or maintenance manuals by transforming multiple 3D views into vector illustrations in a single step.

Illustration output to CorelDRAW®

Create marketing collateral from 3D manufacturing designs with ease. With the “Send to CorelDRAW” feature, XVL Studio (3D CAD) Corel Edition converts 3D views into illustrations for use with the creative graphics and design tools in CorelDRAW (included with CorelDRAW Technical Suite).

3D publishing and output

Share, publish and output 3D visualizations in a variety of formats. Share XVL files for interactive view on iPad and iPhone apps. Publish to HTML5 for sharing 3D with most devices, or publish and read 3D PDF with animations, readable with free PDF reader installed on most desktops and laptops. XVL Studio 3D CAD also supports saving to IGES, STEP, U3D and VRML – to be ready for AR (Augmented Reality) app publishing.

Auto Detection and Update functionality

Maintain all the work done in XVL Studio and automatically update underlying 3D Engineering data when it has changed. Plus, you can simplify the review process and get added control of automated updates with the ability to display the number of same instances.
